The Dash Bag is a teensy bit roomier than the Petit Bag, making it a great crossbody companion when you want to travel light — but still bring a few things with you. Perfect for errands, dinner out, or a hands-free day exploring the city or countryside.
Each bag is made from my custom Tie Prints wool flannel — created by transferring dye directly from vintage silk neckties onto wool. It’s a process I’ve developed over the last few years and it still surprises me every time. Even similar-looking ties can produce totally different results. No two bags are ever the same — and since ties are only so big, duplication simply isn’t possible.
Each one is quilted freehand with cotton thread and wool batting, giving the bag a soft yet structured feel. It’s fully lined in Japanese cotton and finished with a sturdy antique brass YKK zipper (made in Montréal) on the outside. Note: there are no interior pockets, but a Wristlet, Medium or Small Pouch fits nicely inside to help keep things organized.
Care Instructions:
Wool is naturally resilient, stain-resistant + low maintenance. Blot spills with a paper towel or cloth. Let dry messes sit, then scratch or brush off gently before spot-cleaning. For a full refresh: remove the strap, zip it closed and wash by hand or on delicate in cool water. Lay flat to dry.
Each Dash Bag is handmade by Jen in her home studio in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.
