Perfectly sized to keep your essentials tidy, the Medium Pouch is a go-to for organizing all sorts of bits + bobs — think makeup, pens, tech cables, receipts, or anything else that tends to wander. It’s way prettier than a plastic bag, and far more durable too.
Each pouch is made with my custom Tie Prints wool flannel — a fabric I create by transferring dye directly from vintage silk neckties onto wool. It’s a process I’ve honed through a lot of experimentation, and it always yields surprises. The dye behaves differently with every tie — especially the blues — and no two pouches are ever the same. That’s part of the fun!
The pouch is quilted with freehand stitching (I “doodle” with the sewing machine — no computerized patterns here) using cotton thread and wool batting, which adds a soft, structured feel. Inside, it’s lined with smooth Japanese cotton and finished with a sturdy antique brass YKK zipper (made in Montréal), sewn on the outside for easy access.
Care Instructions:
Wool is naturally resilient, stain-resistant + low maintenance. Blot spills with a paper towel or cloth. Let dry messes sit, then scratch or brush off gently before spot-cleaning. For a full refresh: zip it closed and wash by hand or on delicate in cool water. Lay flat to dry.
Each pouch is handmade by Jen in her home studio in Orillia, Ontario, Canada.
