Designed to carry the bare essentials, the Wristlet is perfect for days when you’re travelling light. It also makes a handy organizer for tucking important items into a larger bag or tote.
Each Wristlet is made from my custom Tie Prints wool flannel — created by transferring dye directly from vintage silk neckties onto wool. The technique is the result of years of experimentation, and the results are always a surprise! The dye behaves differently with every tie, and no two pieces are ever the same — even ties that look similar can yield wildly different prints.
Each one is quilted with freehand stitching — like doodling with a sewing machine — and finished with a smooth Japanese cotton lining, a removable full-grain leather strap, and a sturdy antique brass YKK zipper (made in Montréal), sewn on the outside for easy access.
Care Instructions:
Wool is naturally resilient, stain-resistant + low maintenance. Blot spills with a paper towel or cloth. Let dry messes sit, then scratch or brush off gently before spot-cleaning. For a full refresh: remove the strap, zip it closed and wash by hand or on delicate in cool water. Lay flat to dry.
